On the 16th of November 2022, the Forum of Insurance Lawyers in association with the Limassol Bar Association organised and presented the seminar ‘New Civil Procedure Rules: Personal Injury Claims’.
The speakers were Mr. Michael Philippou, Mr. Nicolas Kyriakides and our partner and director Mr. Avgerinos Hartsiotis.
Mrs. Niki Liassides moderated the discussion while welcoming remarks were given by the President of the Limassol Bar Association Mr. Charis Demetriou and Mr. Antonis Glykis, member of the FIL Board. The seminar was hosted by the Holy Bishopric of Limassol in its brand new and state-of-the-art lecture theatre in the city’s historic district.
Over 160 lawyers attended this insightful seminar which focused on the new CPR (to be implemented next year) and more specifically, to the parts which are directly relevant to personal injury claims, with reference to legal precedent from the English jurisdiction and the proper practice when applying the said rules.
