The 5th of October 2020 was a very special day for our firm which hosted the presentation of its Founder’s first book, titled «Ανδρέας Χαρτσιώτης – Οικοδομώντας την Κυπριακή Ασφάλιση» (“Andreas Hartsiotis – Establishing Cyprus Insurance”). The event took place at Hilton Nicosia in the presence of a limited number of esteemed guests.
Published by «Νομική Βιβλιοθήκη» (“Legal Library”) in Athens, Mr. Marios Hartsiotis’s book compiles the writer’s personal experiences and the results of extensive research in various archives, documenting the history of the insurance industry in Cyprus from the end of the colonial era through the end of the 20th century.
The book was presented by the former Attorney General of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Costas Clerides and the attorney and former Minister of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Alekos Evangelou. The event was greeted by the Most Reverend Athanasios, Bishop of Limassol and Mr. Michalis Pipis, Director of Cyprus Hire Risks Pool which has funded the publication of the book.
The event was organized and presented by Mrs. Petra Argyrou, journalist at Sigma TV.

Note: The book is not intended for commercial sale or distribution and only a limited number of copies has been printed. A copy of the book may be found in all the Cypriot Universities’ libraries as well as the libraries of the major insurance companies in Cyprus.
